Debobrata Chakraborty is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at City University, Bangladesh. His research focuses on 3D point cloud, LiDAR data analysis, computer vision, machine learning and explainable artificial intelligence. He has published peer-reviewed research articles in PLOS One (Q1-ranked) and IEEE conference proceedings, and has several other manuscripts under review. He received a government fellowship from the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology of Bangladesh for his master’s research. Beside his academic activity, he also gained professional experience as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Stata IT Limited, where he worked on developing and optimizing IoT systems and mobile applications
