Md. Akash Hosen is serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at City University. He completed both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in CSE from Islamic University, Kushtia, where he achieved outstanding academic results. For his research excellence, he was awarded the UGC Fellowship (2023–24) for developing a CNN-based deep learning model for leukemia classification to support clinical decision-making. He also earned merit-based scholarships at the undergraduate level in recognition of his academic excellence. He has contributed to impactful projects such as smart home automation and environmental monitoring with biometric security. With several other works under review, underscoring his growing contributions to the field. Beyond research, Mr. Hosen is deeply committed to teaching and mentoring. He strives to create a student-centered learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation. His vision is to bridge theoretical foundations with practical applications, equipping students to excel in both academia and industry.
